WINCON 2024: Moldar o futuro da música independente

A WIN (Worldwide Independent Network), organização que reúne associações comerciais de música independente de todo o mundo, anuncia a edição de 2024 do WINCON, a conferência anual de destaque para a indústria da música independente. O WINCON 2024 ocorrerá nos dias 23 e 24 de setembro no Dom Omladine Beograda, em Belgrado, Sérvia, e será realizado em parceria com a conferência Runda Digital Day, organizada pela Regional Association of Independent Discographers (RUNDA).

Reunindo líderes de mais de 30 territórios ao redor do mundo, bem como a direção da WIN, o WINCON servirá como um fórum crucial para enfrentar os desafios da indústria, trocar perspetivas e promover a colaboração para avançar o ecossistema global da música. Os membros da WIN e os participantes do Runda Digital Day terão a oportunidade de participar numa ampla gama de sessões, incluindo palestras, painéis de discussão, workshops e oportunidades de networking. A conferência também será sede de uma reunião presencial da direção da WIN no dia 22 de setembro.

A parte do programa exclusiva para membros abordará questões críticas como a reforma do streaming e a remuneração dos artistas na era digital, posicionando o WINCON como um evento fundamental para moldar o futuro da indústria da música independente. As sessões abertas, disponíveis para todos os participantes do Runda Digital Day, incluirão discussões sobre as implicações éticas da inteligência artificial generativa, a simplificação da troca de dados através dos padrões DDEX e insights sobre a cadeia de valor digital nos mercados da América Latina e da Ásia. 🇬🇧 WINCON 2024: Shaping the future of independent music

Worldwide Independent Network (WIN), the organization that brings together independent music trade associations from across the globe, announces the 2024 edition of WINCON, the annual flagship conference for the independent recording music industry. WINCON 2024 will take place on September 23-24 at Dom Omladine Beograda in Belgrade, Serbia and will be held in partnership with the Runda Digital Day conference, organized by the Regional Association of Independent Discographers (RUNDA).

Gathering leaders from over 30 territories worldwide, as well as the WIN’s board of directors, WINCON will serve as a crucial forum to tackle industry challenges, exchange perspectives, and foster collaboration to advance the global music ecosystem. WIN members and Runda Digital Day attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a wide array of sessions, including keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities. The conference will also host an in-person meeting of WIN’s board of directors on September 22.

The member-only part of the program will delve into critical issues such as streaming reform and performer remuneration in the digital age, positioning WINCON as a pivotal event for shaping the future of the independent music industry. Open sessions, available to all Runda Digital Day attendees, will include discussions on the ethical implications of generative artificial intelligence, streamlining data exchange through DDEX standards, and insights into the digital value chain in Latin America and Asian markets.  Tickets for the Runda Digital Day which give access to the open WINCON activities are available here.
